Interview w/ Presidente Curtis
(Sept 1)
I'll also add here (since there's some free space) a great and uplifting event: This last tuesday we had interviews. Interviews are such a great experience because we get to speak one on one with President Curtis. And as I've shared throughout my journal he is an amazing man. It's like having an interview with a General Authority. Anyway... In my interview Pres. Curtis said some really great things that made me feel great about myself. He said that I was one of the best missionaries in the mission and that he was really grateful for me. He said that he believes I could do a great job in any position in the whole mission and that whenever he has a tough situation w/ transfers he wishes he had a few more "Anziano Pastos" around. It's hard to be humble under such great praise and it was something that I think I needed to hear. Everyone needs to hear that they're appreciated every once in a while. He said I'm doing good w/ Anz. Haws and encouraged me to keep up the good work. He warned me that I'll be going Senior Comp. and D.L. with this next transfer. Big responsibility - but not a whole lot more work. I'm looking forward to the challenge.
