The best part was how Sjlvie explained every principle - she was so excited to already know the answers that she couldn't hold back - she just kept saying stuff like: "Can't you understand? It's so perfect, it just makes sense!" He accepted the commitments to read and pray, but yesterday (Oct 4) when we went to teach the 2nd he hadn't done either so we did a controllo to help him feel the spirit and re-commit himself.
Sjlvie said another neat thing during our visit yesterday: we were setting the appointment for Luigi's 2nd Discussion and she said: "Ma, quando possiamo incontrarci per il quinto? Intanto continuiamo con I MIEI colloqui." She's too cool. We also discovered the real reason why she doesn't want to get married: If she does, her legal status changes and she can't get a house that she has had her eye on for a few months. Aaaargh! Love of $ and materials. We'll teach her the 5th and hopefully she'll put into practice the law of sacrifice. She said she is basically d'accordo con tutto della nostra religione. She needs to be baptised!
At Zone Conf. we took a picture of our 3 generations: Anz. Perry, Anz. Pasto, and Anz. Guiler - it was cool because we all had on solid color ties too. Can't wait to see that picture.
Bene, scrivo un po' in italiano - perche' c'e' qualcosa che sta venendo fuori in questi giorni: La sorellina di mio amico migliore me ha cominciato a scrivere tanto - abbiamo scritto riguardo tante cose ed e' venuto fuori qualche sentimento in piu' (diciamo) Cio'e': Io ho sempre tenuto qualche spazio nel mio cuore per questa ragazza perche' e' la versione feminina del mio amico migliore (piu' o meno) - e inoltre, e' bella - ma fino ad adesso non sapevo che i sentimenti fossero reciproci - adesso una nuova orizzane e' uscita dalle tenebre. Penso che lei abbia una interessa abbastanza grande. Vediamo cosa succedera' perche Carrie non ha scritto niente per piu' di un mese - mi sta trascurando - ebbeh - non me ne frega niente. Sta arrivando la meta' della missione!
