Inspiration: Visit Laura in Tione! |

Well, today I felt inspired. I felt like we needed to go visit a member in Tione (a town about an hour and a half away) We organized ourselves and did it. It was a really neat experience. She is an awesome member - a returned missionary w/ such a strong burning testimony - Laura.
She was the first real member I've seen w/ a burning desire to do missionary work. She told us about approximately 5 people/families that she's really working on to help come to the church. We helped her narrow it down and really focus on the ones that are really ready (she's also very interested in inactive work) We had a great spiritual experience, then went to stop by an inactive member that lives in the same town. On the way we (ran into) talked w/ 2 of the families we had been discussing earlier and were able to introduce ourselves and build a little bit of friendship. Then at the non-member's we popped in. Laura goes by often, but this time she brought THE MISSIONARIES! I was a little scared that she might get offended at the un-announced visit, as we walked up the steps I said a little prayer (I almost walked right into a wall because my eyes were closed) and I felt like everything would go alright. We sat with her and sand her 3 songs. Sono un figlio di Dio, Forza figli del Signor, and Dove trovar potro' pace' e conforto. The spirit was really strong. She has 2 kids that were making all sorts of noise but as we started singing they just became silent and stared at us. It was really spiritual and she recognized the spirit - in her words "Grazie per lo spirito che avete portato." It was a great feeling. Afterwords I just had the feeling that we were where God wanted us to be that evening even if it did take all day to get there and back.
