Welcome to the Life of a Zone Leader
15 Dic 2000 -
Here I am in Bologna. What a huge city. My new companion is Anz. Taylor from Texas - he's cool. He drove a '66 Mustang before the mission. As first (over the phone) I thought he was gonna be a little cold, but he's a really nice guy. I feel a little overwhelmed as I come to know all my responsibilities as a Zone Leader. The hardest is that we have to do top work in our own city while still taking care of the other cities and helping them w/ their work too. Before, I only had to worry about all of our different contacts, now I have to worry about a lot of other individuals. It's a little stressful, but it's comforting to know God has patence and will help me out.

Tonight I went to do my first "Zone Blitz" as a Zone Leaser. We united the whole Zone in Ferrara and worked their city all night. It was cool. I got to go and work w/ Anz. Ferguson (Anz. Guiler's MTC Comp.) he's a really good Elder... Very easy going, funny, and sincere. Then we all reunited to sing Christmas Carols in centro. While singing, we stopped people and talked w/them.

The "Zone Blitz" is a really cool thing - it changes up the drudgery of everyday missionary work, brings the zone together, and gives a big chunk of referrals and people to work with to the city. Now, although, I am tired like the wolf. I'm still recovering from transfers and then we had this draining experience. Welcome to the life of a Zone Leader.
