Well I made it into the MTC. This is an awesome place and the spirit here is excellent. My companion's name is Elder Nebekker, he's from Alaska. We live w/ 2 other Elders: Elder Ditto, and Elder Havel. Yesterday they gave us time to unpack and get to know each other, then we went to and orientation meeting and then we met our district, whom we'll be learning Italian with almost every day. They had us each introduce ourselves and bear our testimonies. Lemme tell ya...this is an awesome group of guys. The spirit in that classroom was amazing.
The parting at the MTC was tough. Amy Casebolt, Carrie Stran, Joe Ferrazzano, Dave Rubalcava, & one of Dave's friends came w/ me to see me off. Amy was crying uncontrollably and Carrie was getting the tear factory flowing too. I felt sorta bad cause I wasn't crying, but I was overwhelmed w/ excitement. It was sad to see Carrie's face, and to know it was the last time I'd see it for two years, or maybe ever.
