3) The other day we went on exchanges in Ferrara. Anz. Gessel had set an appointment w/ one of their better contacts. Her name is Claudia. We went in w/ the goal to set a bapt. date w/ her. She is a very humble lady and very kind.
She's been through a lot in her life - death of a husband and raising 2 kids on her own. We had to meet in her store, it was kind of hectic, but we were able to find a few moments of peace and silence.
She said she saw a great hope for the future in us - she could see young people w/ real faith and love for God and that gave her hope. We explained that, in fact, a great work was going on and that there was a great hope for the future due to the restoration of the gospel.
We read some scriptures about the marvelous work and a wonder. Then some scriptures about baptism. The spirit was strong and it was a good experience. I feel that the Lord blesses us as we go on exchanges.
