President Curtis' "At the Door" Moment |

It's Easter Season. Buona Pasqua! The weather here has been crazy - one day of sun and then a day of rain - sun, rain - sun, rain - sun, rain - Freak! No wonder I have a cold. On the next few pages are my notes from a conference held by Elder John maxwell - an Area Authority seventy - that came to do a tour of our mission this week. It was a good conference - even though the english accent was a little hard to follow.
President Curtis bore an awesome testimony about when he was preparing for his mission studying at BYU. He was reading Jesus the Christ while studying the New Testament. While reading one evening in his dorm room - as he was looking he had the over-whelming feeling that Christ was right on the other side of the door and was just about to come in.
He sat there w/ an amazing feeling of peace, love, and excitement as he looked at his door. Later, the feeling passed, and Christ didn't come in, but he bore his testimony about the reality of our Savior. President Curtis really is a special person. He's on of the people I respect and look up to most in this world.
