SEPT 22 2001 -
Today was a good day. We were busy all day - and almost all of our appointments went through. We worked hard and came home tired. We raced the clock home and rode from one side of the city (9:15) to the other side - we got in at 9:27... 3 minutes to spare.
We had a disturbing meeting w/ Eduardo. We stopped by and asked him how it was going. He said everything was O.K. Then I asked him about his girlfriend - and he said he had something to talk to us about tomorrow. The way he said it was kind of rebellious, so now I'm kinda worried. We'll pick him up for church at 8:45 tomorrow morning.
I've been pretty preoccupied with his remark all day - I'm afraid that he won't be ready for baptism next week. It's been weighing on my mind, but as I was thinking about it, the impression came into my mind that the will of God will be done and I don't need to worry about it - all I need to worry about is doing my part the best I can - If he's ready... he'll get baptised. If not... it'll happen in the future.
