Monday January 3, 2000:
Today has gone very well. I woke up with a lot of energy and felt very good. We had our weekly District meeting at the church building and it went very well.
We discussed the importance of talking w/ everyone ad not just when we are officially "doing street"...we should share our message with everyone we encounter. We also discussed how the work is going and set goals to improve.
It was neat: We came out of district meeting feeling great and dull of energy to do the work and the first people we stopped listened to a first discussion and committed to read and pray about the BoM. The guy, in the group, said he could see a different kind of faith and devotion in us than he's seen before and was really touched by our testimonies.
That's the kind of stuff that makes you feel good as a missionary...it makes you realize that you are doing a good job out there.
I need to write Carrie soon, it's been a while and she's probably kinda mad at me. It's just hard to find time. I barely have time to write in my journal. The zone leaders have all of our mail so I haven't seen any letters yet. Luckily they're visiting this Thursday. I'm curious to see what I've got. Anz. Ditto has like 14 letters and 3 packages. I think I have much less.
Today I bought a new stocking hat because it's cold fuori and since I haven't drawn a picture for a LONG time I'll draw one here. Ecco, la mia prima disegna dal millenio:
