Dog Chase |

14-1-00:
Things have been going fine, I wrote a bunch of letters and am excited to, maybe, be getting some mail soon. (in response)
A very funny incident: Wednesday night, we had an appt. with Ivanna: A very strange lady who says she's a "hand healer" and wanted to talk about a bunch of space doctrine. That was interesting, but after the discussion we had to, literally, run out of the house to catch the bus.
While we were running, these two dogs came out and started chasing us. The funny part, is that the dogs were PUNY. They were barking their heads off and trying to bite us, but they could barely keep up. One boot to the body would have sent it flying for a fair distance.
We kept running and they kept chasing. While I was running I was looking back and barking at them fiercely. Anz. Perry was watching me do this and was just laughing his head off, then he tripped and almost fell down.
Anyway...the dogs finally gave up and when we got to the bus stop we couldn't help but laugh uncontrollably. The whole situation was hilarious.
Other than that, not much to write about. (Oh, we also almost got stuck out in the middle of nowhere cause we missed the bus, but another came, luckilly)
WHY ARE YOU ON A MISSION? (In no particular order)
1. It's a commandment
2. To gain life experience, mature.
3. To learn another language/culture. (How to cook)
4. To bring souls to God/eternal reward
5. To set an example for my family
6. To become worthy of my future wife
7. To help others find the hope, faith, and happiness that I've found through this Gospel
8. To strengthen myself and my testimony through experience
9. To be able to have a giant pool of funny "mission stories" to tell.
10. Because it's the right thing to do - God's Will (7-23-00) |
