Trento! |

July 16 2000:
Well I made it to Trento - It was a really easy transfer about 45 minutes in train. I travelled w/ Anz Frisby - he's the guy I came up to Bolzano with. We had a nice little chat about serving in Bozen and then he went on to Verona.
Being in 3 is different, kinda weird, but nothing outrageously hard. Anz. Barson & Haws have really been working hard out here and their work shows it. In the 4 days I've been here we've already taught 3 advanced discussions. That's more than I've been able to teach my whole mission. I think a lot of it is due to Anz. Barson's exceptional organizational skills. I mean, this guy has things under control. He's got everything on record and a cool book of pictures and symbols to help teach discussions. I hope to learn something from him while we're together these 2 weeks.
Elder Haws is really cool. He can't speak the language worth a lick, but he's just the sweetest most sincere, simple guy - almost perfect he's so simple. He's one of those people you can't help but love - he's like a little kid - like a little brother. It's really hard to believe though, that he's been in the mission for so long - he's like a greeny. It will be fun to serve together.
The next few pages have dedicas from the guys at Bolzano. The one from Elder Howes is just awesome. I love that guy - he's the man. He's such a good missionary and just an all around cool guy. I'll miss him.
One of the great things of Trento that will really bring us success is the branch. It is way cool, full of young friendly, united, loving people that are excited to be members. I'm really gonna love working with them. I've just felt a really awesome spirit since I've arrived and I just know there's gonna be a lot of success here and I'm gonna have a great time. The only thing that worries me is learning the bus schedule.
